International Mental Health Day Lunch 2026
Held in Partnership with VHI Healthcare
Guest Speaker:
Padraig O’Hora
Mayo Footballer, Mental Health & Neurodivergent Advocate
Overview:
The Executive Forum’s 3rd Annual International Mental Health Day Lunch in partnership with VHI Healthcare brings member organisations together to formally recognise the importance of mental health in the workplace and to support open, constructive conversation at senior leadership level.
As workplace pressures continue to intensify, mental health is no longer a personal issue alone - it is a leadership responsibility. Our guest speaker is Padraig O’Hora - a Mayo senior footballer and youth justice worker who combines elite sport with a strong commitment to community impact and mental health advocacy. He is widely recognised for championing neurodivergent inclusion, helping to establish initiatives that support people with Autism and ADHD. Diagnosed with ADHD later in life, he speaks openly about resilience, stigma, and the importance of seeking support, particularly within sport. In 2026, he also completed a landmark Everest expedition to raise awareness and funds for the Mayo Mental Health Association.
This event is designed to:
Acknowledge International Mental Health Day in a visible and meaningful way
Encourage open, stigma‑free dialogue within organisations
Support leaders in shaping healthy workplace cultures
